Jenny and Brian’s love story starts like any old-fashioned fairytale - on a dating app in 2016. That really douchey app that gives off the aura of exclusivity but actually would let in any idiot with a LinkedIn profile (the League). Brian had just spent 13 months living in a car throughout South America, and Jenny was embracing single life in the city. At the time, Brian was the epitome of eligible bachelor - he had no job, was living with his mom, with a gross beard. Jenny was desperate to get some cool travel recs for her upcoming solo trip to Colombia. Unfortunately, Brian’s standard of travel was... a bit grungier than Jenny's. Brian failed with the travel tips, but somehow got the girl. And Jenny leaned in on the age-old investment advice of buying low, and holding - for the rest of her life. Neither of them were planning to meet their forever partners that day, but somehow, they gradually started to realize “hey, I think I like this person!” It took them 6 months to make it official, but just like a delicious stew, their love cooked slowly on a simmer. They dated for a year, then took a short break, only to come to the realization of “oh wait I actually frickin’ LOVE this person!” They couldn’t imagine life apart. Since then, Jenny and Brian have built a beautiful life together in Brooklyn filled with an amazing community, travel (the nicer kind), and of course, their adorable dog Jeff, named after the host of their favorite shared TV show. Don’t try making plans with them on Wednesday nights unless it's to watch Survivor. In October 2022, Jenny took Brian to visit her ancestral land of Turkey, where so many of her best memories have taken place. There, on the banks of the Bosphorus Strait, Brian created another core Turkish memory by getting down on one knee and asking “Benimle evlenir misin?” (She said evet) And that, as they say on Survivor, is how their final two alliance was formed. They can’t wait to celebrate it with you.
